Julia Pape-Neumann
Biography
Julia Pape-Neumann is a speech and language therapist. She holds a diploma (equivalent to Master's degree) in Teaching and Research Logopedics and a PhD in Theoretical Medicine. She works as a lecturer in the Department of Speech Therapy at the Training Academy for Health Professions at the Uniklinik RWTH Aachen. Her classes as well as her clinical work focus on the diagnosis and treatment of stuttering and cluttering. She supervises the practical training of students in both areas. Some of her research activities on stuttering took place in projects of the German stutterer self-help organization.
She has given presentations at national and international conferences. She also works as a guest lecturer for fluency disorders in Bachelor and Master Courses at the University of Fribourg (Switzerland).
